I am a camera

photoblog by Daniel Kaspar

I went to see the Lucas Cranach exhibition in Royal Academy today. Having missed the show in Frankfurt last year, I was glad to hear it would come to London. The exhibition is not so special; a lot of works I have seen many times somewhere else and no new information. However it was good to see all these paintings next to each other. One of the highlights is the little book Cranach designed and illustrated for Philipp Melanchthon and of course the amazing portrait of Martin Luther in a black robe in front of a cyan background.
