The front of a high street store is being renovated. The windows are painted white from inside and the decoration is removed. The fragments of the remaining stickers on the window and its wooden frame look like a palm tree. its like a pop art painting with palm trees! bit more summery than the bleak (but lovely) shots of the beach. still wanna talk to you about bleakness as an aesthetic. its not often you see other peoples work which illustrates some of your own ideas.

I keep coming back to this site and I always seem to stop and stare at this one. I definitely really like the composition and the colour but I keep wondering what the hell is actually going on with this wall. Is that white stuff glue and they're gluing the leaves onto the wall as decoration?
