When I was a kid, I used to live in Brighton, and enjoyed fishing in the sea. I got to know the security guard of the West Pier and he actually showed me around; before it started to fall down, then caught on fire. The dome structure was where the penny slot machines were. It was a real highligh for me and it is sad to see what it has become. Great shame.
