it looks so different between high tide and low tide. the light here is particularly melancholy, a sort of violet hue to it. i hope they dont destroy it but leave it as it is, it is such a landmark and also a sanctuary for the birds. good shot.

one of the saddest sights is to see this wonderful place in such disrepair…still, it always makes for excellent photos!
