I am in Frankfurt for Christmas. I am glad I managed to get away from London today. Many flights were cancelled because of the fog over London in the last couple of days. Later I heard on the radio that people had to go home again or stayed at Heathrow and slept in tents. When I arrived in Frankfurt, my plane was only half an hour late.

Makes me want to travel. I love airports ! You can always imagine where the people are going !
I really like this shot. It's a scene most of us have seen before in real life and probably never thought of taking a shot.

this photo seems to lack the defining feature of xmas airflight – fog! great shot. airports can be tranquil as well as boring. its a state of mind. happy christmas!
