I saw this in St Andrew’s Church. It is a church, designed by Charles Barry and it is close to my place. I always liked it but have never been inside before. This is a lectern in form of a bird. Hard to say what kind of bird. A pelican would make sense, as it is a Christian symbol, however it does not really look like a pelican. Eagle, swan or duck…?
