I am a camera

The Holocaust Mahnmal, close to the Brandenburger Tor resembles very much the Garten des Exils in the Jewish Museum. Have a look! While the garden in the building by Daniel Liebeskind is an intelligent installation that interacts with the visitors mind, feelings and senses, this memorial is just huge. I wonder why Peter Eisenman didn’t manage to come up with a more original concept and why this design was chosen in the end. There were better ideas in the competition. Some of the concrete blocks already have cracks.
