Recently I visited Atypi – Hands on Brighton,a typography conference. It was inspiring, I had a good time, saw interesting talks and met many nice people. On the last day of the conference I went on an excellent typographic walk around Brighton, organised by Phil Baines. We had a look at lettering in the urban environment. In the next couple of days I will be posting images of interesting typographic details.

W&T Garret pretty much covered it all, they must have had a monopoly on the trades scene in the early days.
I like your composition Daniel that creates a sense of space and perspective.

Thanks, ndiginiz! It is hard to say if this add speaks of unconcern or self-confidence…

there are so many of these signs around. but many get painted over. we just lost the senior service cigarette one at hove station!

Have your say!
