This was good fun! Today we visited seven country pubs in the South Down area as part of the ale trail 2007. The Ale Trail is organised by Brighton & South Downs Campaign for Real Ale in order to promote English beer brewed by smaller breweries. Ale Trail 2007

I was going to say how cute it was that it was called an “Ale Trail”. We call the same thing here a pub crawl, but perhaps Ale Trail was the promotional name for that promotional trip?
